THE MUSIC EXCHANGEThe Music Exchange is a not-for-profit music shop run by Nottingham based homelessness charity Framework. The shop aims to give homeless and vulnerable people the opportunity to gain work experience and develop valuable skills to live independently by offering them a chance to work, regardless of their situation. As the shop is not-for-profit it relies solely on donations of old music from the general public. We were asked to come up with an identity for the shop along with promotional materials to encourage people to donate their old, unwanted music. We created a charming campaign that cited famous song lyrics to play on the idea of someone parting with their once-loved pieces of music. A series of flyers were created with differing lyrics, colours and typefaces and distributed around the Nottingham area. |

To raise awareness of The Music Exchange, Framework put on a night in Nottingham which we were asked to produce the flyers and posters for, right. | ![]() |
