PETE AND REPEATPete and Repeat – an exhibition at 176, with work from the Zabludowicz Collection – explores the ideas of repetition, remaking and reiteration and invites the viewer to discover that nothing is ever truly the same twice. All of the artists featured within the show used 'strategies of repetition' in their work, a concept which we embraced within the project. MARC&ANNA was asked to design the exhibition identity along with all the supporting marketing materials, signage and exhibition catalogue. We took the core idea of repetition and carried this into the design by cutting all the materials from the same printed sheets. This left us with invites, posters and guides all featuring the same repeated pattern but consisting of a differing section of it in every instance.
